Sydney Disneyland: Introduction and Layout
The first gate of the park is an epic, immersive park done in Magic Kingdom style. It has six immersive lands and many amazing attractions. It also features a mix of old and new attractions to create a unique and fun park to visit.
LAYOUT:
When coming into the park, guests first enter through the elegant and nostalgic Main Street, U.S.A., which recreates a Midwestern American town in the early 1900s. This street leads down to the central gardens, where guests can see the Enchanted Fairy Tale Castle nearby. Also here is a hub where other lands can be accessed through.
Going clockwise around the park, guests first come into the rustic land of Frontierland. This is where the adventure of the Old West and the charm and diversity of New Orleans come together to create an unforgettable area.
Up next is Adventureland, a world where guests travel to exotic places. Here, they can find many incredible experiences as they explore lush environments inspired by the South Pacific, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and South America.
Then, guests travel to the biggest land in the park, Fantasyland. Home to many fairy tale characters, this land puts guests in the middle of stories as they travel through a village, a forest, London, and other places.
Guests can then travel to a vision of tomorrow as seen from yesterday in Discoveryland, where the ideas of past visionaries are celebrated. From the ideas of Jules Verne, Leonardo da Vinci, and others, this unique area brings forth a retrofuturistic vibe.
Finally, guests are invited to see a world where science and Science Fiction collide to create an impressive land in Tomorrowland. Here, guests can immerse themselves in the world of science fiction stories.
Each of these lands and their attractions will be gone over in later posts.
